Axiom Discs
SKU: DG-AXM-TR-PRXFRM (REF1089-20)
Description
The Axiom Electron Firm Proxy putter is Axiom's remarkably straight, glidey putt and approach disc, molded in Electron Firm plastic. It's built for players who want straight putter drives and controllable approaches, and it's at its best on straight putter drives, approaches, and putts. If you're shopping for a dependable Proxy for your bag, this Electron Firm run is a great place to start.
Electron Firm Plastic
Electron Firm is the stiffest version of MVP's grippy, matte Electron plastic. You get the same tactile, all-weather grip with a firmer, more solid feel in the hand. It's designed to wear slowly, and as your Proxy picks up a few battle scars it gains a little glide and flies straighter.
The Mold
The Proxy is a 21.1 cm putt and approach disc with a 10 mm rim. It shares the Envy mold's core, giving it the same low-profile feel and solid grip, with a short wing width and wide flight plate diameter for superior glide. It sets itself apart from the Axiom Envy with a remarkably straight, forward-fading finish. A bit of high-speed turn lets you shape its lines over a broad range of power and helps less powerful throwers achieve straight putter drives.
Stability
The Proxy is neutral. Neutral discs fly straight and true with very little turn or fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with only a slight drift left as it slows down. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with a gentle drift right at the finish. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It's an easy choice for beginners and a reliable tool for experienced players.
