Description

The Discraft Putter Line Magnet putter is a classic, understable putter since 1993, molded in Putter Line plastic. It's built for players who want a putter that holds any line, and it's at its best on controlled putts with minimal fade. If you're shopping for a dependable Magnet for your bag, this Putter Line run is a great place to start.

Putter Line Plastic

Putter Line is a softer, budget-friendly baseline blend engineered specifically for putters and touch approach shots. It's a grippier, improved take on classic Pro D, giving your Magnet great feel in the circle.

The Mold

The Magnet has been a staple in Discraft's lineup since 1993 for its feel and understable flight. It's a domey putter with a beveled bottom rim and micro bead, designed to be controlled on any line with minimal fade.

Stability

The Magnet is understable. Understable discs turn away from your throwing arm at speed, making turnovers and hyzer-flips easier and helping lower-power players fly straight. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it tends to drift right during the fastest part of its flight, then shows a gentle fade back to the left at the end. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, drifting left early and fading right at the end. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits beginners who need help getting straight flights as well as advanced players who want to shape turnovers.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 2 Slow putter speed, easy to control without much power.
Glide 3 Moderate glide that carries without sailing past the target.
Turn -1 A touch of high-speed turn to the right (RHBH) for a little extra distance.
Fade 1 Very little fade, so it finishes nearly straight.
