Description

The Discraft Z Line Buzzz SS midrange is a Buzzz that flies like it's well-seasoned right out of the box, molded in Z Line plastic. It's built for Buzzz fans and players who want buttery anhyzers, and it's at its best on pinpoint gaps and smooth anhyzers. This listing is the Paige Shue Signature Series release of the Buzzz SS.

Z Plastic

Z is Discraft's flagship hard, translucent, and glossy plastic. It offers maximum durability, resists wear and tear, and holds its original flight stability for years. Discraft's recent Z refresh gives it an enhanced look and feel while keeping the same trusted flight, so your Buzzz SS will fly the same way for a long time.

The Mold

The Buzzz SS flies like a well-seasoned Buzzz right out of the box. Use it to hit pinpoint gaps and take advantage of its glide for super smooth, buttery anhyzers. It has a similar grip to the Buzzz with less stability.

Stability

The Buzzz SS is stable-to-understable. Understable discs turn away from your throwing arm at speed, making turnovers and hyzer-flips easier and helping lower-power players fly straight. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it tends to drift right during the fastest part of its flight, then shows a gentle fade back to the left at the end. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, drifting left early and fading right at the end. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits beginners who need help getting straight flights as well as advanced players who want to shape turnovers.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 5 Midrange speed that rewards smooth form over raw power.
Glide 4 Moderate glide that carries without sailing past the target.
Turn -2 Noticeable turn to the right (RHBH) at speed, great for turnovers and hyzer-flips.
Fade 1 Very little fade, so it finishes nearly straight.
