Description

The Discraft ESP Sol midrange is Paige Pierce's understable touch midrange, molded in ESP plastic. It's built for newer players and finesse throwers, and it's at its best on easy turnovers and straight touch shots. If you're shopping for a dependable Sol for your bag, this ESP run is a great place to start.

ESP Plastic

ESP is Discraft's premier opaque, swirled plastic. It balances a gummy-yet-firm, tacky grip with high durability, which makes it a favorite for all-around everyday play. Your Sol in ESP will hold its flight well over time while giving you more grip than Discraft's harder Z plastic.

The Mold

The Sol is built around touch, glide, and effortless shot shaping. Its understable flight makes turnovers easy and lets lower-powered throws carry straight without a heavy fade.

Stability

The Sol is understable. Understable discs turn away from your throwing arm at speed, making turnovers and hyzer-flips easier and helping lower-power players fly straight. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it tends to drift right during the fastest part of its flight, then shows little fade at the end, so it can finish straight or keep drifting right. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, drifting left early and fading right at the end. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits beginners who need help getting straight flights as well as advanced players who want to shape turnovers.

Turn -3 Noticeable turn to the right (RHBH) at speed, great for turnovers and hyzer-flips.
Fade 0 No fade, so it finishes straight.
