by
Innova
SKU: DG-INV-DX-BOS (REF1201 *AST**5)
Description
The Innova DX Boss distance driver is Innova's max-distance driver and a distance world record holder, molded in DX plastic. It's built for players who want a predictable, reliable flight, and it's at its best on max-distance backhand and sidearm drives. If you're shopping for a dependable Boss for your bag, this DX run is a great place to start.
DX Plastic
DX is Innova's value plastic, offered in the widest selection of models and weights. It provides excellent grip in a variety of weather, and it wears in with use, gradually taking on new flight characteristics. Many top pros carry several DX discs of their favorite models for different flight patterns.
The Mold
Designed for maximum distance off the tee, the Boss is a great choice for sidearm or backhand throwers. The R-Pro Boss holds the distance world record of 1,108 feet (338 meters), thrown by David Wiggins Jr.
Stability
The Boss is stable. Stable discs fly straight for most of their flight and finish with a dependable fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with a reliable fade to the left at the end. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with the fade finishing to the right. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits players of every skill level who want a predictable flight.

FAQ
Is the Innova Boss good for beginners?
Not as a first driver. At 13 speed, the Boss needs good arm speed to fly as intended.
Is the Innova Boss overstable?
Not really. The Boss is stable, rated 13/5/-1/3, so it flies straight with a dependable fade rather than the hard hook of an overstable disc.
What's the difference between DX and Champion plastic?
DX is affordable and grippy and wears in over time. Champion is clear, firmer, and far more durable, holding its flight much longer.
What disc is similar to the Innova Boss?
The Innova Destroyer (12/5/-1/3) is a slightly slower, stable power driver.
How far does the Innova Boss fly?
