Description

The Discraft Glo Z Avenger SS distance driver is a beginner-friendly, understable distance driver, molded in Glo Z plastic. It's built for newer players and anyone wanting easy distance or rollers, and it's at its best on long-flying drives and distance rollers. If you're shopping for a dependable Avenger SS for your bag, this Glo Z run is a great place to start.

Glo Z Plastic

Glo Z is Discraft's glow-in-the-dark Z plastic and the most popular variant for night rounds. It gives your Avenger SS the durability of Z with a glow that lights up evening leagues and glow rounds.

The Mold

The Avenger SS adds understability to the Avenger, with an easily activated turn for long-flying shots or distance rollers when thrown with power.

Stability

The Avenger SS is understable. Understable discs turn away from your throwing arm at speed, making turnovers and hyzer-flips easier and helping lower-power players fly straight. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it tends to drift right during the fastest part of its flight, then shows a gentle fade back to the left at the end. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, drifting left early and fading right at the end. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits beginners who need help getting straight flights as well as advanced players who want to shape turnovers.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 10 Distance-driver speed that needs good arm speed to fly as rated.
Glide 5 Lots of glide to help it stay in the air and add distance.
Turn -3 Noticeable turn to the right (RHBH) at speed, great for turnovers and hyzer-flips.
Fade 1 Very little fade, so it finishes nearly straight.
