Description

The Discraft ESP Force distance driver is a max-distance, overstable driver for big arms, molded in ESP plastic. It's built for big arms looking to throw far, and it's at its best on max-distance drives and flex shots. This listing is the Paul McBeth Signature Series release of the Force. Paul McBeth is a 6x PDGA World Champion.

ESP Plastic

ESP is Discraft's premier opaque, swirled plastic. It balances a gummy-yet-firm, tacky grip with high durability, which makes it a favorite for all-around everyday play. Your Force in ESP will hold its flight well over time while giving you more grip than Discraft's harder Z plastic.

The Mold

The Force's heavy overstability lets it resist turning over, even at high speeds. Even on anhyzer angles, it works hard to flex out and fade, maximizing flight time and distance off the tee.

Stability

The Force is overstable. Overstable discs resist turning over and fade hard at the end, which makes them predictable in wind and at high power. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it resists turning over and finishes with a strong, dependable fade to the left. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with that hard fade finishing to the right. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It's best for intermediate to advanced players with good arm speed.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 12 Very high speed that needs strong arm speed to fly as rated.
Glide 5 Lots of glide to help it stay in the air and add distance.
Turn 0 No high-speed turn, so it holds its line early in flight.
Fade 3 A strong, reliable fade to the left (RHBH) at the end of the flight.
