by
Innova
SKU: DG-INV-GS-FOX (REF2535-3)
Description
The Innova GStar Fox midrange is Innova's farthest-gliding midrange, molded in GStar plastic. It's built for newer players and anyone who wants easy distance and turnovers, and it's at its best on hyzer-flips, turnovers, and long straight mid lines. If you're shopping for a dependable Fox for your bag, this GStar run is a great place to start.
GStar Plastic
GStar is a blend of Star that adds flexibility and even more grip. It's opaque like Star with a pearlescent sheen, has the same durability as Star, and has a smooth, gradual transition in flight. For cold weather play, the flexibility and grip of GStar can't be beat, and it keeps similar flexibility when the weather warms up. It's ideal for players with less grip strength.
The Mold
The Fox is the Innova midrange that thinks it's a fairway driver. With 6 glide, it carries farther than you expect while keeping the control of a true mid. It's a hyzer-flip specialist that holds long straight lines and shapes smooth turnovers and high-arching hyzers with ease.
Stability
The Fox is understable. Understable discs turn away from your throwing arm at speed, making turnovers and hyzer-flips easier and helping lower-power players fly straight. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it tends to drift right during the fastest part of its flight, then shows a gentle fade back to the left. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, drifting left early and fading right at the end. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. This run is rated 5/6/-3/1, while the standard Fox is rated 5/6/-2/1. It suits beginners who need help getting straight flights as well as advanced players who want to shape turnovers.
