Innova Disc Golf Halo Star Fox with Spirit of Detroit Stamp Midrange Disc
by
Innova
SKU: DG-INV-TGM-HLS-FOX (REF2753-7)
Description
The Innova Halo Star Fox midrange is Innova's farthest-gliding midrange, molded in Halo Star plastic. It's built for newer players and anyone who wants easy distance and turnovers, and it's at its best on hyzer-flips, turnovers, and long straight mid lines. This one features TGM's custom Spirit of Detroit stamp.
Halo Star Plastic
Halo Star is Innova's latest high-performance polymer, offering maximum durability and a brilliant appearance. A two-tone injection process gives every disc a "Halo" rim that's a different color than the flight plate. Every Halo Star disc looks unique, but runs are extremely consistent, and it's a slightly more stable version of Star with Star's durability and superior grip.
The Spirit of Detroit Stamp
This Fox carries our custom Spirit of Detroit stamp, a design TGM Skateboards created to honor the city. The Spirit of Detroit, the iconic bronze statue by Marshall Fredericks that has stood downtown since 1958, has long been a symbol of Detroit's people and their determination, and we're proud to celebrate it and the Metro Detroit disc golf community from our shop in Mt. Clemens.
You get the same trusted flight and plastic as any other Halo Star Fox, with a stamp you won't find on the standard release. It's a great pick for your own bag, a gift for a Detroit fan, or a piece of local pride for your collection.
The Mold
The Fox is the Innova midrange that thinks it's a fairway driver. With 6 glide, it carries farther than you expect while keeping the control of a true mid. It's a hyzer-flip specialist that holds long straight lines and shapes smooth turnovers and high-arching hyzers with ease.
Stability
The Fox is understable. Understable discs turn away from your throwing arm at speed, making turnovers and hyzer-flips easier and helping lower-power players fly straight. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it tends to drift right during the fastest part of its flight, then shows a gentle fade back to the left. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, drifting left early and fading right at the end. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits beginners who need help getting straight flights as well as advanced players who want to shape turnovers.
