Description

The Streamline Neutron Stabilizer putter is Streamline's overstable approach putter, molded in Neutron plastic. It's built for players who need point-and-shoot accuracy on approaches, and it's at its best on overstable approaches and windy putts. If you're shopping for a dependable Stabilizer for your bag, this Neutron run is a great place to start.

Neutron Plastic

Neutron is the flagship plastic of the MVP family and the most popular blend Streamline uses. It's opaque and grippy with a premium look and feel, and it comes in the widest selection of bright colors, which makes your Stabilizer easy to find in any terrain. Neutron shares the great durability of Proton, so it holds its flight for a long time. Because Streamline discs are solo-mold, the whole disc is one uniform piece of Neutron, finished with Streamline's clean edges and triple-foil stamps. The Stabilizer is also available in Cosmic Neutron, Electron, Electron Firm and Electron Soft.

The Mold

The Stabilizer is a solo-mold putt and approach disc with a 9.5 mm rim. It is the overstable complement to the Streamline Pilot. It has a similar hand feel and depth to the Pilot, with a slightly raised shoulder and a more pointed nose that produce a flatter, more stable putter. Its defining flight is straight with minimal turn, into a strong finishing fade for point-and-shoot accuracy.

Stability

The Stabilizer is overstable. Overstable discs resist turning over and fade hard at the end, which makes them predictable in wind and at high power. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it resists turning over and finishes with a strong, dependable fade to the left. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with that hard fade finishing to the right. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. This Neutron run is rated 3/3.5/0/3, with more fade than the standard 3/3.5/0/2.5. It's best suited to intermediate and advanced players, and it's a valuable utility disc for anyone who plays in wind.
