Description

The Prototype Eclipse Electron Watt combines our industry-leading glow plastic and our grippy baseline plastic, resulting in a disc that glows bright enough to be used in glow rounds, without blowing out your night vision. Green C Studio had the honor of creating a SE Prototype for this unique disc, and he captured the moment brilliantly!

The MVP Eclipse Electron Watt putter is MVP's high-glide, deep-profile putter, molded in Eclipse Electron plastic. It's built for players who want a workable putter that can also drive, and it's at its best on laser-straight drives, turnovers, and confident putts. This listing is the Special Edition release of the Watt, so you get the same trusted flight with a collectible look.

Eclipse Glow Electron Plastic

This special-edition Watt pairs MVP's glow technology with the Electron line. MVP's Eclipse glow material uses their ultra-bright Glow Core 2.0 for visibility day or night and is built for high durability and a long, consistent life. It's a fun pick for glow rounds, and like other Eclipse discs it may fly a little differently than the same mold in MVP's standard premium plastics. The Watt is also available in Cosmic Electron, Cosmic Neutron, Eclipse and Electron.

The Mold

The Watt is a 21.2 cm putt and approach disc with a 9 mm rim. The Watt exceeds expectations for how much glide a full-weight putter can have. Like its cousins the Ohm and Pilot, it's a deeper-profile putter that is exceptionally workable, producing laser-straight lines, beautiful turnovers, and a reliable grip for driving.

Stability

The Watt is neutral to stable. Neutral discs fly straight and true with very little turn or fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with only a slight drift left as it slows down. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with a gentle drift right at the finish. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits players of every skill level who want a predictable flight.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 2 Slow putter speed, easy to control without much power.
Glide 5 Lots of glide to help it stay in the air and add distance.
Turn -0.5 A touch of high-speed turn to the right (RHBH) for a little extra distance.
Fade 0.5 Very little fade, so it finishes nearly straight.
