MVP Disc Golf James Conrad Signature Plasma Nomad Putter 2/4/0/1.5 -Choose Exact Disc
Description
The debut of the James Conrad Line, the Nomad is a neutral-stable putter. One of the fun challenges of designing the James Conrad Line was figuring out just what that concept meant to James and MVP. After sitting down with James and talking about his passions, it became clear that the concept of travel and exploration was going to be the bedrock of the James Conrad Line. With that in mind, James wanted to use his Line to showcase some of his favorite places and experiences on Earth. As luck would have it, months before he would go on to win the World Championships in Utah, Arches National Park was chosen as our Nomad concept —James Conrad definitely has some magic to him.
The MVP Plasma Nomad putter is James Conrad's signature neutral-stable putter, molded in Plasma plastic. It's built for players who want a comfortable, small-bead putter designed by a world champion, and it's at its best on confident putts and controlled approaches. This listing is the James Conrad Signature release of the Nomad, so you get the same trusted flight with a collectible look.
Plasma Plastic
Plasma is MVP's specialty premium blend, known for its metallic sheen and color-shift options. It's a semi-gummy, flexible polymer with superb grip, and MVP says few premium materials grip this well. It's also highly durable, so your Nomad will hold its flight for a long time. Plasma is a great choice if you want premium durability with a little more grip and flex than Neutron or Proton. The Nomad is also available in Electron, Electron Firm and Electron Soft.
The Mold
The Nomad is a 21.2 cm putt and approach disc with a 9 mm rim. The Nomad debuted the James Conrad Line and has everything Conrad wants in a putter, from the depth and shoulder height down to the size of its small bead. MVP rates it as a neutral-stable putter, with a little glide and a gentle fade.
Stability
The Nomad is neutral to stable. Neutral discs fly straight and true with very little turn or fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with only a slight drift left as it slows down. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with a gentle drift right at the finish. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits players of every skill level who want a predictable flight.
