The roller is really well made and heavy duty but I don’t think it really serves a purpose. The roller doesn’t really do anything that can’t be accomplished by proper use of the grip tape backing paper to smooth things out. I bought this thinking it would help me finally get a perfect bubble free application on clear grip but it just doesn’t work. The best you can do is pop the bubbles with a fresh razor blade and apply pressure. It will never be perfect without perforated tape. The file seems fine. Nothing fancy, just a decent file.
