Kastaplast Disc Golf K1 Grind Berg X Putt and Approach 1/1/1/2 - Choose Exact Disc
Description
The Kastaplast K1 Grind Berg X putter is the Berg with extra stability for power and forehands, molded in K1 Grind plastic. It's built for players who need control in the wind and on forehands, and it's at its best on powerful and forehand approaches. Kastaplast is a Swedish disc golf company, and many of its molds carry Swedish names.
K1 Grind Plastic
K1 Grind is made from 100% recycled K1 plastic to minimize waste in manufacturing. Kastaplast reclaims excess material from K1 production and gives it new life with the same quality and performance: no used discs and no mixed plastics. It always comes in a two-tone design.
The Mold
The Berg X keeps the familiar feel and flight of the original Berg until you add power. Give it all you've got and the line stays the same. That reliability, and the increased stability, makes it perfect for the forehand approach.
Stability
The Berg X is overstable. Overstable discs resist turning over and fade hard at the end, which makes them predictable in wind and at high power. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it resists turning over and finishes with a strong, dependable fade to the left. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with that hard fade finishing to the right. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It's best suited to intermediate and advanced players, and it's a valuable utility disc for anyone who plays in wind.
