Description

The Innova Star Charger distance driver is a straight-finishing 13-speed that fills the gap between the Destroyer and Shryke, molded in Star plastic. It's built for players who want a predictable, reliable flight, and it's at its best on full-power drives. If you're shopping for a dependable Charger for your bag, this Star run is a great place to start.

Star Plastic

Star is created with a special blend of grippy, resilient polymers. It offers the outstanding durability of Champion plastic with improved grip like Pro plastic, and it flies like Champion while being slightly less firm. It provides predictable performance, long-lasting durability even on wooded or rugged courses, good all-weather grip, and it retains its flight longer than DX or Pro plastics.

The Mold

The Charger can be thrown at full power without worrying about it flipping over. For players who want the Destroyer's consistency with less fade, or the Shryke's big distance in a disc that handles wind better, the Charger fills the gap.

Stability

The Charger is stable. Stable discs fly straight for most of their flight and finish with a dependable fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with a reliable fade to the left at the end. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with the fade finishing to the right. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits players of every skill level who want a predictable flight.

Not as a first driver. At 13 speed, the Charger needs good arm speed to fly as intended.

What disc is similar to the Innova Charger?

The Innova Destroyer (12/5/-1/3) is a slightly slower, more stable power driver.
