Description

The Discraft Putter Line Soft Roach putter is a neutral, beadless putter with a modern feel, molded in Putter Line Soft plastic. It's built for players who want a round, clean-releasing putter, and it's at its best on putting and straight approaches. If you're shopping for a dependable Roach for your bag, this Putter Line Soft run is a great place to start.

Putter Line Soft Plastic

Putter Line Soft is the flexible version of Discraft's putter-focused baseline blend. It provides a grippy feel that enhances touch and control for accurate putts and approaches, with reliable performance in various conditions.

The Mold

The Roach has a similar flight to the Magnet but with a modern feel and added glide. Its beadless, smooth rim and slightly low profile give it a round feel that fits nicely in the hand and releases clean. It's Brodie Smith's putter of choice.

Stability

The Roach is neutral. Neutral discs fly straight and true with very little turn or fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with only a slight drift left as it slows down. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with a gentle drift right at the finish. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It's an easy choice for beginners and a reliable tool for experienced players.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 2 Slow putter speed, easy to control without much power.
Glide 4 Moderate glide that carries without sailing past the target.
Turn 0 No high-speed turn, so it holds its line early in flight.
Fade 1 Very little fade, so it finishes nearly straight.
