Description

The Discraft Big Z Luna putter is Paul McBeth's neutral-flying putter, molded in Big Z plastic. It's built for players on wooded and open courses alike, and it's at its best on confident putts and controlled approaches. This listing is the Paul McBeth Signature Series release of the Luna. Paul McBeth is a 6x PDGA World Champion.

Big Z Plastic

Big Z is a variant of standard Z plastic with an opaque appearance, a slightly softer feel, and distinct, oversized artwork stamps. It offers durability, excellent grip, and consistent releases, so your Luna looks as good as it flies.

The Mold

The Luna is a great neutral flying putter, making it a staple for heavily wooded and open style courses. This control allows The Luna to take advantage of any angle or putting style and showcase it at its full potential. You may have noticed the flight numbers on the Luna have been updated. This is to better reflect the true flight of Luna, the disc mold has not changed.

Stability

The Luna is neutral-to-stable. Neutral discs fly straight and true with very little turn or fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with only a slight drift left as it slows down. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with a gentle drift right at the finish. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It's an easy choice for beginners and a reliable tool for experienced players.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 3 Slow putter speed, easy to control without much power.
Glide 4 Moderate glide that carries without sailing past the target.
Turn 0 No high-speed turn, so it holds its line early in flight.
Fade 2 A moderate, dependable fade at the end of the flight.
