Description

The Discraft ESP Sled putter is a utility putt and approach disc with a rolled thumb track, molded in ESP plastic. It's built for players who want a disc that hits its line and stays put, and it's at its best on forehand and backhand approaches and putting. This listing is the First Run release of the Sled.

ESP Plastic

ESP is Discraft's premier opaque, swirled plastic. It balances a gummy-yet-firm, tacky grip with high durability, which makes it a favorite for all-around everyday play. Your Sled in ESP will hold its flight well over time while giving you more grip than Discraft's harder Z plastic.

The Mold

A rolled thumb track adds comfort and control, while the rounded wing and nose feel similar to the Luna and Roach. Expect an easy high-speed flip, clean point-and-shoot control, and a subtle fade. With minimal glide, it's built to hit the line, land soft, and stay put.

Stability

The Sled is stable. Stable discs fly straight for most of their flight and finish with a dependable fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with a reliable fade to the left at the end. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with the fade finishing to the right. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits players of every skill level who want a predictable flight.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 3 Slow putter speed, easy to control without much power.
Glide 2 Very little glide, so it drops and stops near its target.
Turn -1 A touch of high-speed turn to the right (RHBH) for a little extra distance.
Fade 2 A moderate, dependable fade at the end of the flight.
