Description

The Climo Major Line Skyway distance driver is Climo's first distance driver, with distance and overstable control, molded in Major Line plastic. It's built for players of all skill levels who want distance with a reliable finish, and it's at its best on controlled distance and headwinds. Climo Disc Golf discs are designed by 12x World Champion Ken Climo, "The Champ," in partnership with Discraft.

Major Line Plastic

Major Line is named for Ken's 18 PDGA Major wins, more than any other player in history, and it's Climo Disc Golf's flagship plastic. It's top-end premium plastic with an opaque, vibrant look and a glossy finish that doesn't compromise grip. In the hand, it has a softer feel that lets you really dig in and generate a lot of spin.

The Mold

Just as the Sunshine Skyway Bridge spans Tampa Bay with elegance and strength, the Skyway sails with remarkable consistency and glide. It's the first distance driver in the Climo lineup, pairing impressive distance potential with a touch of overstable control. Big arms can pipe shots in and out of the woods and handle moderate headwinds with ease, while lower arm speeds can put anhyzer on it and watch it fight out in big S flights. Newer players will find it dependable for consistent hyzer finishes, and it's offered in weights all the way into the 150s.

Stability

The Skyway is stable-to-overstable. Overstable discs resist turning over and fade hard at the end, which makes them predictable in wind and at high power. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it resists turning over and finishes with a strong, dependable fade to the left. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with that hard fade finishing to the right. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits players of every level, and it's a valuable disc for anyone who plays in wind.
