Bones Bearings Race Reds (Built in Spacer)
Description
Bones Race REDS skateboard bearings are built for racers who use precision trucks and properly tighten their axle nuts. Each bearing is made from upgraded, top quality bearing steel, precision ground and polished, with a 0.200" built-in spacer that creates perfect 0.400" spacing between each pair.
A precision ground extended race eliminates the need for separate spacers and speed washers, and it gives better bearing alignment when you tighten the axle nut. Race REDS are also great for freestyle: linking the two bearings together lets you tighten the nut as if the wheel had a hub, which helps with wheel edge tricks like coconut wheelies.
Who Bones Race REDS Are For
- Racers using precision trucks
- Freestyle skaters doing wheel edge tricks
- Skaters who want fewer parts and faster setup
- Riders who want perfect bearing alignment
Skate Rated, Not ABEC Rated
ABEC ratings were created for industrial machinery, not skateboarding. They measure tolerances at speeds far beyond anything a skateboard sees, and don't account for the side loads, impacts, and dirt that skate bearings deal with every session. Bones designs every bearing to its own Skate Rated standard, with clearances, tolerances, materials, and lubricant chosen specifically for skating.
Features
- Precision ground, Skate Rated racing bearings
