I'm a fan of bearing spacers. I like the built in spacers and the extended inner race that eliminates the need for washers. It makes wheel installation/removal easy. The bearings don't spin up as fast as others when new, but spin nicely while skating. They feel pretty fast. I'm sure, as they break in, that will only improve. Spacers, whether built in or loose, seem to work better in some wheels than others. These are working well in a set of Spitfire soft sliders for me. I can't really crank down the wheel as with some spacers. It does still restrict the bearing a bit. But, I have it pretty well tightened down, with no rattling or lateral movement.
