Description

The Discraft Jawbreaker Zeus distance driver is Paul McBeth's first distance driver, molded in Jawbreaker plastic. It's built for advanced players throwing full-power drives, and it's at its best on full-power distance drives. This listing is the Paul McBeth release of the Zeus. Paul McBeth is a 6x PDGA World Champion.

Jawbreaker Plastic

Jawbreaker is Discraft's signature putter and approach plastic, known for its candy-colored or speckled look, extra tackiness, and broken-in feel right out of the box. It also helps cut down on skips, so your Zeus is easy to grip and land where you aim.

The Mold

The Zeus is Paul McBeth's first distance driver, a powerfully overstable driver meant for full-power distance drives for advanced players.

Stability

The Zeus is overstable. Overstable discs resist turning over and fade hard at the end, which makes them predictable in wind and at high power. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it resists turning over and finishes with a strong, dependable fade to the left. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with that hard fade finishing to the right. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It's best for intermediate to advanced players with good arm speed.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 12 Very high speed that needs strong arm speed to fly as rated.
Glide 5 Lots of glide to help it stay in the air and add distance.
Turn -1 A touch of high-speed turn to the right (RHBH) for a little extra distance.
Fade 3 A strong, reliable fade to the left (RHBH) at the end of the flight.
