Innova Disc Golf Proto Glow Champion Mamba with Spirit of Detroit Stamp Driver
Description
The Innova Proto Glow Champion Mamba distance driver is the driver for the masses, with more turn than any other Innova 11-speed, molded in Proto Glow Champion plastic. It's built for newer players and anyone who wants easy distance and turnovers, and it's at its best on easy max distance, flips, and rollers. This one features TGM's custom Spirit of Detroit stamp.
Proto Glow Champion Plastic
Proto Glow is Innova's major upgrade over its older, fast-fading glow plastics. It glows significantly brighter and lasts much longer, holding visible illumination for 20 minutes or more. Proto Glow Champion is the premium, durable version with a glowing core. Designed for professional players, Champion discs are usually a little firmer and more stable than the same model in other plastics, and they keep performing predictably and avoid damage better than any other plastic, even on wooded or rugged courses.
The Spirit of Detroit Stamp
This Mamba carries our custom Spirit of Detroit stamp, a design TGM Skateboards created to honor the city. The Spirit of Detroit, the iconic bronze statue by Marshall Fredericks that has stood downtown since 1958, has long been a symbol of Detroit's people and their determination, and we're proud to celebrate it and the Metro Detroit disc golf community from our shop in Mt. Clemens.
You get the same trusted flight and plastic as any other Proto Glow Champion Mamba, with a stamp you won't find on the standard release. It's a great pick for your own bag, a gift for a Detroit fan, or a piece of local pride for your collection.
The Mold
The Mamba has more high-speed turn than any other 11-speed Innova driver. It unlocks easy maximum distance for players with developing arm speed while giving experienced throwers effortless hyzer-flips, long turnovers, powered-down straight shots, and big rollers.
Stability
The Mamba is understable. Understable discs turn away from your throwing arm at speed, making turnovers and hyzer-flips easier and helping lower-power players fly straight. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it tends to drift right during the fastest part of its flight, then shows a gentle fade back to the left. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, drifting left early and fading right at the end. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits beginners who need help getting straight flights as well as advanced players who want to shape turnovers.
