by
Innova
SKU: DG-INV-ST-SAV (REF318-28)
Description
The Innova Star Savant fairway driver is a stable to slightly overstable fairway driver, molded in Star plastic. It's built for players who want a predictable, reliable flight, and it's at its best on controlled power drives. If you're shopping for a dependable Savant for your bag, this Star run is a great place to start.
Star Plastic
Star is created with a special blend of grippy, resilient polymers. It offers the outstanding durability of Champion plastic with improved grip like Pro plastic, and it flies like Champion while being slightly less firm. It provides predictable performance, long-lasting durability even on wooded or rugged courses, good all-weather grip, and it retains its flight longer than DX or Pro plastics.
The Mold
The Savant is similar to the Thunderbird with extra glide and less fade. Players who throw an Eagle and want more speed, power, and distance should look to the Savant, and for Wraith lovers it has a similar flight with less power.
Stability
The Savant is stable. Stable discs fly straight for most of their flight and finish with a dependable fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with a reliable fade to the left at the end. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with the fade finishing to the right. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits players of every skill level who want a predictable flight.
