Discmania Disc Golf Nate Perkins Meta Essence Zen 2 Fairway Driver - Choose Exact Disc
Description
The Discmania Meta Essence fairway driver is the do-it-all understable fairway driver in Discmania's Evolution line, molded in Meta plastic. It's built for newer players and anyone who wants easy distance and turnovers, and it's at its best on easy distance, smooth forehands, and rollers. This listing is the Nate Perkins Zen 2 release of the Essence. It's Team Discmania's Nate Perkins' second signature Meta Essence.
Meta Plastic
Meta is a beautiful, pearly, extremely durable blend. It's slightly more stable than Neo and Lux, and its iridescent qualities make the disc change colors in any light when tilted.
The Mold
The Essence's closest relative is the TD2 from the Originals line. It's best for players looking for their first distance driver, backhand or smooth forehand throws, tailwinds, and excellent roller shots. Beginners are its target, but plenty of pros like it too.
Stability
The Essence is understable. Understable discs turn away from your throwing arm at speed, making turnovers and hyzer-flips easier and helping lower-power players fly straight. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it tends to drift right during the fastest part of its flight, then shows a gentle fade back to the left. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, drifting left early and fading right at the end. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits beginners who need help getting straight flights as well as advanced players who want to shape turnovers.
