Description

Ace Hard Bushings 94A tighten up your Ace AF1 or Classic trucks for more stability and control. With 94A top and bottom bushings, they resist compression better than stock, cutting down on wobble while keeping the smooth turn Ace is known for.

Stock Ace bushings run loose and carvy. If you're a heavier rider, skate fast, or just want your trucks to feel more planted, stepping up to 94A gives you a firmer base without losing that responsive Ace lean.

Who Ace Hard Bushings Are For

  • Heavier riders who compress stock Ace bushings too easily
  • Skaters who want a tighter, more stable truck
  • Fast bowl and park skating where speed wobbles are a concern
  • Street skaters who want a firmer base for landings

Features

  • Ultra high rebound urethane formula
  • Classic cylinder-style bushing
  • Top and bottom washers included
  • Sold as a complete set for both trucks

  • More stable than stock
  • Reduced speed wobble
  • Keeps Ace's smooth, responsive turn
  • Everything needed for both trucks in one pack

FAQ

How much harder are these than stock Ace bushings?

Stock Ace bushings are 91A top and 86A bottom. These run 94A top and bottom, giving a noticeably tighter and more stable feel.

Do hard bushings help with speed wobbles?

Yes. Firmer bushings resist the small side-to-side movements that turn into wobbles at speed.

What's the difference between Ace standard and low bushings?

Low bushings are shorter to fit the lower profile of Ace AF1 and Classic Low trucks. Standard bushings are sized for standard-height AF1 and Classic trucks, so match the bushing to your truck.

It’s nice having the top bushing because Ace uses a taller top bushing but you need to combine that with some other bottom bushing if you want conical bushings because they don’t make anything but a barrel bushing unfortunately. Conical bushings really open up the potential of ace trucks. I like to combine the top bushing from this set with the bottom bushing from a set of Thunder 94a conicals, but I’ve had even better luck using the Thunder 100a conical bushings that come in their rebuild kits.

I put these into my Ace AF1 77 Hollows for riding vert. I normally love the stock Ace bushings, but I was squashing them down way too much for my vert setup and they were still squirrely. I decided to give hard (and extra hard) a try. I didn't even end up trying the extra hard because these are perfect for me (I weigh 150 lbs). I can still turn, but the hard bushings gave me the stability and confidence I was looking for.

Best upgrade for the ACE classics you can get. I have some 55s on a Bod Boyle sick cat and the stock bushing was to soft. I was getting wheel bite fairly often and the hard bushing took care of all of that. Make the upgrade and you'll be stoked.

Better then the stock 86a bushing
