The Mold
The ACP is an overstable, flat-top approach putter that's great for backhand or forehand short-distance throws that need torque resistance and a nice end-fade. Rated 3/3/0/2, it has no high-speed turn, moderate glide, and a dependable fade, so it resists flipping on aggressive releases and finishes predictably near your target.
Stability
The ACP is overstable. Overstable discs resist turning over and fade hard at the end, which makes them predictable in wind and at high power. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it resists turning over and finishes with a strong, dependable fade to the left. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with that hard fade finishing to the right. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It works for players of all levels as an approach disc, especially on forehands and in the wind.
