The best
I don't know what the difference between the black and white version of bones bushings is, but the only ones I've ever blown out (after years of abuse) were white so now I buy the black. Bones are one of the best bushings you can buy and one of the cheapest but most significant upgrades you can make to your setup. If you weigh over ~165 lbs and like to ride your trucks tight then go for these - if you like a little more slop or you're smaller then maybe go for the medium or even the soft. I use the hards with Indys and find that they let me keep that great smooth, responsive Indy turn (and I ride my trucks tight) but come back to center faster than the stock bushings. For trucks that are a little stiffer by nature like Thunder and the new Tensors I prefer the black mediums, and I even have a set of venture lows with a medium/soft mix for pinch-y grinds and curb dancing. In any case, they're almost always an upgrade over stock bushings and can really help a young or inexperienced skater find their balance and become more confident on their board.
