**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best Clear Grip I've Tried — And I've Tried a Few**
I was skeptical about switching from standard black griptape to a clear option, but Black Diamond's clear griptape completely won me over. The grit is aggressive enough to keep your feet locked in whether you're landing tricks or just cruising, and it holds up surprisingly well over time — no peeling at the edges, no bubbling, even after months of regular skating.
The real selling point, obviously, is the look. Being able to show off your deck's graphic underneath is a game changer. The clarity stays clean for a good while before the normal wear and dirt starts to dull it, which is way longer than I expected. If you're proactive about keeping your board clean, it stays looking sharp even longer.
Application was smooth — it laid down flat without much fuss and cut cleanly around the edges of my deck. No air pockets, no frustrating bubbling mid-apply.
