What are the changes from the first Tesseract? For one, you get a very precisely cut board. No need to cut the nose off of your own precious board. But secondly, the tail on the Cantellated Tesseract is actually wider than the first Tesseract. This provides you more space to rest your foot than the regular kicks on the Tesseract. Even though the Cantellated Tesseract has a directional stance, it has a symmetrical standing foot platform. So riding switch is just as easy even with the directional shape.
