Double Drop construction combines the Drop Down & Drop Through methods which allows for a very low traction and very low ride height. The angled section leading to the truck mounting can be used as a comfortable foot stopper. This is a freeride style board which is great for sliding and other tricks. Needed a better board for pushing to get to/from my bus stop. I have other boards including a drop thru & top mount, but looking for that lower center of gravity & closer proximity of the standing area of the board to the ground, which makes pushing off soooooo much easier!!
Plus it has just a slight flex to contribute to some fun carves & pumping, which makes the exercise & quick transport to my bus stop a fun release of sidewalk surfing.
Can't tell you how many smiles I get from people looking at my neon green double-drop with orange 75mm Orangatang In Heats 80a & Bear 852 trucks (which have the best stock bushings in the business).
It rolls like a dream & handles most rocks & cracks the sidewalks throw at me.
